The 2016 Mountaineer Christian Ashram was held August 4-7 at Parchment Valley Conference Center. Brother Clifford West continued his leadership as Director of our Ashram, with assistance from his daughter Cherri. Our Evangelist was Cleveland Mason from Perkins Square Baptist Church of Baltimore Maryland. Our Bible Teacher was Don Stephens, who led a series of talks on the Kingdom of God. The Children were lead by Cherry West, and the Youth were once again led by Scott and Andrea Heath, and like previous years, the youth presentation during the Family Hour was filled with laughter and joy.
Our Ashram family grew this year with a new group coming from Germantown, Ohio, including Lyla and Alivia, two very young ladies who served everyone by offering to take their food trays away after eating.
The weather was gorgeous, the fellowship sweet, and the power of God moved.
